Assembly steps
- 1.Start with Fast Noise at a relatively large scale so the structure reads as broad clouds rather than digital static.
- 2.Animate Seethe slowly to introduce evolving motion without making the texture look like boiling noise.
- 3.Shape the contrast so the fog has enough depth but does not become a harsh black-and-white matte.
- 4.Tint the result with Color Corrector and soften it with Blur before compositing it into the final design.
Common mistakes
- Using a very small noise scale, which reads as electronic grain instead of smoke.
- Animating Seethe too quickly and creating nervous, boiling motion.
- Pushing contrast so hard that the atmospheric texture becomes a dirty hard-edged mask.
