Section 01

Material protected by copyright

Text, illustrations, diagrams, educational materials, software code and other works on videomontazher.com are protected by copyright where the legal requirements for protection are met. The selection and arrangement of material are protected to the extent that they result from creative work.

Copyright does not protect ideas, facts, methods or working principles as such. These rules do not restrict their independent application or remove uses of works permitted by law.

Rights in third-party images, trademarks, software interfaces and other third-party material belong to their respective rights holders. Permission from Videomontazher covers only rights that Videomontazher is entitled to grant.

Section 02

When permission is required

If a use is not permitted by law, an applicable licence or a separate agreement with the rights holder, prior permission is required for the following activities.

  • Reproducing or republishing articles, instructions, images, diagrams, educational materials and other protected works from the website, or protected parts of those works.
  • Translating, adapting, distributing or incorporating protected material into other products or publications.
  • Creating mirrors of the website, copied sections, catalogues or databases that use protected website content.
  • Bulk copying or automated collection of protected material for distribution, datasets or model training or fine-tuning, where the intended use requires the rights holder's permission.

The amount copied does not by itself determine whether permission is required. The nature of the material, the intended use, the licence terms and applicable law also matter.

Section 03

Quotation and personal use

A work lawfully made available to the public may be quoted in its original language or in translation for scientific research, debate, criticism, reporting, education or explaining the author's creative intent, subject to Article 1274 of the Russian Civil Code. The author and source must be identified, and the amount quoted must be justified by the purpose.

These conditions are not limited to text: whether an image may be quoted also depends on the purpose and extent of its use. A link to the website alone does not provide a legal basis for copying material.

Reproduction by an individual for personal purposes is permitted only subject to the conditions and exceptions in Article 1273 of the Russian Civil Code. It does not provide a general right to publish copies or distribute them to third parties.

If a use has been separately authorised, follow the terms of that permission. Attribution and an active link to the original page are required unless the parties expressly agree otherwise.

Section 05

Products and rights in outputs

Use of a particular script, macro, preset, template or other digital product is governed by the applicable licence and the order terms available before the order is agreed. Product-specific terms apply to that product and do not override mandatory legal requirements.

Receipt of a file or licence key does not by itself transfer exclusive rights. A product, its protected parts or a licence key may be transferred to third parties only where permitted by law or the agreed licence.

A user who lawfully possesses a copy of software or a database retains the rights provided by Article 1280 of the Russian Civil Code, within the limits set by that article. These include the actions allowed by law to operate the software and make an archival copy, subject to the article's conditions.

Using a tool and distributing the tool itself are separate activities. Rights in source material, output videos and any third-party assets they contain are governed by applicable law, the order terms and the relevant asset licences. Using a Videomontazher tool does not by itself transfer rights in your source material or work outputs to Videomontazher.

Section 06

Requesting permission

If your intended use goes beyond what is permitted by law, the applicable licence or an existing permission, obtain the rights holder's approval before publishing or transferring the material.

Identify the material, how and where you intend to use it, the amount you want to reproduce and your purpose. Use the Contacts page or email info@videomontazher.com. If the rights belong to a third party, permission must be obtained from the relevant rights holder.
