Overview
What UltraKeyer does
UltraKeyer starts from a sampled background color but provides deeper control over how the background and subject are separated. Pre-matte ranges, matte separation and spill/fringe controls help handle uneven screens and difficult edge colors.
Its strength is control, not magic. A poorly lit screen, motion blur and green contamination still require careful sampling, helper mattes and sometimes separate edge treatment.
Use UltraKeyer when the shot genuinely benefits from the additional controls; for clean simple screens, ChromaKeyer may be faster and easier to maintain.
