Assembly steps
- 1.Set particle count, lifespan, size and initial motion in pEmitter before adding secondary behavior.
- 2.Add pTurbulence to break up mechanically uniform movement and give the stream more natural variation.
- 3.Render the simulation through pRender so the particle data becomes a normal image layer.
- 4.Add Glow after pRender and composite the result over the shot with Merge, matching brightness and sharpness to the plate.
Common mistakes
- Using far more particles than the shot needs and making the composition unnecessarily heavy.
- Forgetting pRender and expecting the live particle stream to behave like a normal image.
- Setting a lifespan that does not match the timing of the effect, leaving particles appearing or disappearing unnaturally.
