Synthesize a new stereo eye view
Reprojects stereo imagery to synthesize a new left or right eye position using depth/disparity information and configurable warp direction.
NewEye is a stereo and depth utility for rebuilding one or both views from a different virtual eye position. It is used for parallax adjustment, stereo-baseline changes and depth-aware view synthesis.
Overview
Left and Right sections control each eye independently, including interpolation, depth ordering, edge clamping and source-frame warp direction.
Forward and backward warp choices determine how pixels are projected when generating the new view. Different footage and disparity quality can favor different directions.
Refine Edges helps reduce disocclusion and boundary artifacts, while Stack Mode can package the resulting eyes horizontally, vertically or as layers for downstream stereo processing.
Think of NewEye as moving a virtual stereo camera sideways and reconstructing what that new eye should see from the original views plus depth information.
