Type
Chooses Horizontal, Vertical or Rect cube layout.
3D LUT cube image generator
Generates a LUT cube test image used for creating, baking or analyzing 3D color transforms.
LUTCubeCreator produces a structured representation of a 3D color cube. A color-processing chain can transform that cube so the resulting relationship can be captured or analyzed as a LUT.
Overview
LUTCubeCreator produces a structured representation of a 3D color cube. A color-processing chain can transform that cube so the resulting relationship can be captured or analyzed as a LUT.
Feed every possible sampled color through the intended transform in a structured cube so the transform can later be reconstructed as a lookup table.

Inspector
Start with these controls before reaching for more complicated workarounds.
Chooses Horizontal, Vertical or Rect cube layout.
Generates a horizontally arranged cube representation.
Generates a vertically arranged cube representation.
Generates a rectangular cube layout.
Controls cube resolution and therefore LUT sampling density.
Provides normal node processing and blend controls.
Practical setup
Choose a cube layout compatible with the downstream analyzer.
Set the required cube size.
Pass the cube through only the color operations that should be baked.
Analyze or export the transformed cube.
Validate the resulting LUT on independent test imagery.
Examples
Pass the cube through a grading chain and analyze the output.
Compare transformed imagery against the LUT rebuilt from the cube.
