VectorMotionBlur
Blur driven by motion-vector channels
Uses vector data stored in selected channels to control blur direction and magnitude for each pixel.
VectorMotionBlur
Overview
What VectorMotionBlur does
The node reads horizontal and vertical motion components from chosen channels. Those vector values determine which way each pixel is smeared and how far it travels.
Channel assignment is critical: if X and Y are swapped, inverted or scaled incorrectly, the blur points in the wrong direction or becomes wildly exaggerated.
This workflow is especially useful in CG pipelines where motion-vector passes can be rendered alongside beauty images.
When to use it
CG motion blur from render passes
Per-pixel directional blur
Rebuild shutter blur in compositing
Control blur independently from the 3D render
