VectorDistortion
Displace image with X/Y vector channels
Distorts an image using selected channels as horizontal and vertical displacement vectors.
VectorDistortion
Overview
What VectorDistortion does
VectorDistortion interprets image channels or dedicated Vector X/Vector Y data as a displacement field. It is useful for refraction, heat haze, technical motion-vector warps and effects where every part of the image should move differently.
When to use it
Create heat-haze distortion
Apply motion-vector displacement
Build refraction effects
Use rendered vector passes
Create animated map-driven warps
Transfer texture motion
