OGrafLoader
Loader for reusable OGraf graphics templates
OGrafLoader opens an external OGraf template (.json) or Lottie animation (.lottie) and produces an image with transparency. Resolve 21 documents this feature for macOS and Windows; select the template file in the Inspector.
OGrafLoader
Overview
What OGrafLoader does
Start with a supported file. A .json extension alone does not make a document an OGraf template: ordinary JSON, Fusion .setting files and composition projects are different formats. The documented Lottie container here is .lottie. The Resolve 21 manual specifies macOS and Windows; this source does not establish Linux support for this node.
Template Path references a file outside the composition. Browse opens the file chooser; Reload rereads the selected template after an external edit. The node does not turn an arbitrary template into editable Fusion nodes. When handing off a project, include the template and the images, fonts and other resources it requires, then check access on the destination machine.
The output is an image, so Transform can resize it and the Foreground input of Merge can composite it over video. Template transparency should survive in Alpha; a black Viewer background alone does not establish this. Inspect Alpha and temporarily place a contrasting Background underneath.
Global In/Out limits when the source is active in the composition. It does not instruct the template to stretch, change playback speed or loop its internal animation. If a title ends before the node interval, separately inspect the asset duration and its behavior outside the animated section.
The archived capture shows OGraf, Image and Settings tabs, with only OGraf open. This reference therefore explains the visible items without assigning unseen Image controls or controls from later Resolve versions to the capture. The three practices below define reproducible checks; execution in Resolve remains pending.
When to use it
Loading a prepared OGraf or Lottie title.
Compositing transparent animation over video.
Reusing branded graphics across compositions.
Checking an updated asset with Reload.
Limiting the interval in which a template appears.
