RemoveNoise is a lightweight cleanup tool for color speckle and channel noise when a full temporal NoiseReduction pass is unnecessary. Color mode works directly across color channels; Chroma mode concentrates on color variation while preserving more luminance structure.

Softness controls how aggressively each RGB channel is smoothed, while Detail restores local structure. Raise them as a pair: enough softness to suppress the defect, then only enough detail recovery to keep texture and edges from looking washed out.

Mental model

Think of the image as color channels that can be smoothed by different amounts: remove unstable chroma while preserving enough channel detail to keep edges and texture intact.
