TV combines several CRT/VHS/broadcast artifacts in one stylization node, making it faster to build an old-monitor or damaged-signal look.

Overview

What TV does

Controls define the geometric signal instability: scanline density, horizontal and vertical displacement, skew, amplitude, frequency and phase offset.

The Noise section adds interference texture, while Roll Bar creates a broad moving band associated with poor synchronization between camera, monitor or signal timing.

Subtle values create a believable display treatment; extreme values turn the node into a glitch effect. Text and interface graphics should always be checked for readability after the treatment.
