Triangle
Three-point geometric mask
Creates a triangular mask from three editable points for graphic wedges, arrows, diagonal reveals and localized effects.
Triangle
Overview
What Triangle does
The three Point controls define the shape directly in frame coordinates. This makes Triangle fast for wedges, arrows and diagonal wipe geometry.
Solid and Border Width let the mask work as a filled region or outline. Soft Edge and Filter determine how crisp or feathered the triangle is.
Like other masks, Triangle normally connects to a blue Effect Mask input. It does not generate a colored graphic by itself; pair it with Background or another image-producing tool when you need visible artwork.
When to use it
Create triangular title plates
Build diagonal reveal mattes
Mask a Blur or Color Corrector
Create arrowhead and HUD geometry
Generate geometric wipe transitions
