Wand
Similarity-based mask selection
Builds a mask by selecting pixels similar to a sampled area, useful for fast local isolation when color or brightness is consistent.
Wand
Overview
What Wand does
Wand creates a matte from pixel similarity rather than hand-drawn geometry. It is a fast way to isolate a reasonably uniform region, then refine that selection with range, softness and additional masks.
When to use it
Select a flat sky or wall
Create a quick color-region matte
Isolate a graphic element
Build a garbage mask
Combine with Polygon for cleanup
Drive localized effects
