PerspectivePositioner is useful for placing graphics on monitors, walls, documents and other quadrilateral surfaces while preserving perspective behavior.

Overview

What PerspectivePositioner does

The four corner coordinates define the target plane. Perspective mapping attempts to maintain the visual relationship expected from a planar surface rather than a simple bilinear bend.

Because coordinates are normalized, the setup remains easy to reason about across frame sizes. Small corner changes can produce large perspective changes near extreme angles.

For moving shots, perspective placement is usually driven by tracking data rather than hand-keyframing all four corners.

Treat the node as a virtual poster that can be pinned to a perspective plane in the image.

Mapping type
