Overview

What TexturePop does

Strength and Details determine how much local texture is emphasized. Shadows, Midtones and Highlights allow the effect to be weighted by tonal region, while Low Range and High Range define the active range more precisely.

The node can work in different color modes and can output the final result, difference or magnitude information. Those diagnostic views are useful for understanding exactly what detail is being added.

Think of TexturePop as micro-contrast targeted at surface texture rather than just edge sharpness: choose the detail scale, then decide which tonal ranges should receive it.
